No Port in a Storm

This project is an interview and documentary of my grandparents experiences on the island of Puerto Rico during Hurricane Maria in 2017. This production was done to share my grandparents’ story and show how Puerto Rico 6 years later still struggles with the aftermath. I hope it urges those with certain nationalistic and patriotic views to look upon themselves introspectively and gain new perspectives on the world’s outside of theirs. The film was made with only a Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera and Zoom h1n recorder.
